Eid Mubarak!

Hi everyone, a quick note to greet you all an Eid Mubarak! It's the Eid Al Adha holidays here in the UAE - all tourism facilities are pretty busy this weekend and as for me, I get to enjoy my city!

For the past 3 days, I have been wandering around the city again like a tourist (sometimes I pretend to be one, hihi). Dubai is a very busy city and whenever I can, I try to at least learn about the culture and heritage so I can easily show my friends around.

One dear friend from Kuwait just visited recently and we both explored Old Dubai. It's kind of cool, I think, to know the whereabouts of museums and photo friendly spots in Dubai. It's my way of giving back to the community and I'm actually encouraging expats to do the same - skip the malls and shopping but instead, show your friends and visitors around the city.

About this look, it's almost winter and I'm back to my regular leggings kind of outfit. It's still sunny here but I easily get the chills in the evening so I opted for this ensemble.

The top I'm wearing is comfy enough to let the air go through my skin. One thing that you need to have when in Dubai is a nice pair of comfy leggings to keep you covered. Remember that Dubai is still an Arab country after all - you will earn the local's respect if you dress appropriately at the right places.

I'd be posting more of how I have spent my 5-day holiday here in Dubai but if you want real-time updates, do follow me on Instagram so I can show you around through my phone captures.

See you when I see you guys!
