Georgia - Mtskheta Historical Monuments, Monasteries and Cathedrals

Museum of Stalin

And back to the next half of my day1 in beautiful Georgia the country! If you have been following my blog, I previously posted tips about travelling to Georgia if you are coming to Dubai through Holiday Factory and a photo dump of Gori and Uplistsikhe. To be completely honest, I've been getting a lot of great feedback from both and I'm so overwhelmed with the amount of love I've been receiving from the readers, so thank you! This is still part of the tour I have paid which is the travel to Mtskheta, Gori and Uplictsikhe that I booked through David from Holidays Travel Agency.

Georgia - Uphill Hike to Gori Fortress and Uplistsikhe

Tbilisi Georgia Meidan Square

Then my friends asked: "Of all European countries, why Georgia?". It all started with a sudden obsession of mountain ranges. I have been living in a concrete jungle for more than 2 years now and I suddenly felt the need to breathe.

The Essentials - Georgia Budget Travel Must Haves

travel to Georgia from Dubai

My recent trip to Georgia the country turned out to be successful, thanks to the blogs I have skimmed and read way back January I was able to plan it ahead. For now, I will be sharing my own experience and how I was able to survive the trip travelling solo. :)

Georgia, The Country Is REALLY Pretty

travelling to Georgia

Hello world! I'm back in Dubai and I've got loads of things to share about my solo trip to Georgia - not the state but the country which is somewhere near Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Dubai Food Tour On A Bike With Tastecapade

Dubai tours and attractions

Biking in Dubai? Why not! This is a sport that I haven't done for awhile now and with the weather getting nicer everyday, it's the perfect season to make the most out of it before it gets hot again, ha!

Sunset Watching At Jumeirah Beach Hotel

sunsets in Dubai

Sunsets are lovely especially when you get to watch it on different places. And living here in Dubai, oh God, it probably is one of the best countries to watch the sun shrink in the sea, ha!

Eid Mubarak!

Dubai Street Style Fashion

Hi everyone, a quick note to greet you all an Eid Mubarak! It's the Eid Al Adha holidays here in the UAE - all tourism facilities are pretty busy this weekend and as for me, I get to enjoy my city!

5 Reasons Why Choose Doha and Why Not

boats in Doha

Holla! The bouncing chopstick (that's me) is back in DXB from my recent trip to Doha, Qatar. Went there to shoot my dear cousin's pre-wedding photos. If you've been following my instagram account, you might have seen a preview of the shoot and tons of photos of me and my niece messing around. I'm missing her a lot as I write this post.

I'm always excited to share stories of my not-so-random trips (see, I'm half a jet-setter!). A few people know the purpose of my travel and I was surprised to I hear other people say "You're the first to tell me that Doha is nice". What's not to love about it?

Excited for June - Home Bound Baby!

travel essentials

Excuse my random photo above, I'm getting a bit hyped for the next days to come despite a very busy schedule. There are things that unexpectedly happened this year and although some came unplanned, there's one thing I am definitely sure of - I'm bound to visit my home country this June! Yeheeey!

Abu Dhabi by Public Transport

Bus to Abu Dhabi

Hello! Just a quick post to say hi. This a long over due post from a day trip we had last November with my ever reliable thrift travel buddy Jason The Roomie. We sort of like going places by public transport when in UAE so we took a quick day trip to Abu Dhabi.

Sneak Peek : Travel Agency Life - March

Hi from Dubai!
Kites Beach - Dubai UAE

I'm trying to get myself back to writing - "trying"  an operative word. Deactivating one of my social networks somehow gave me time to reflect on the things that happened for the past what - 4 or 5 years? I mean I've wasted too much already: time, energy, effort, prolly relationship, and what nots (apologies if I can't  refrain myself from speaking my mind). Perhaps I can say I am now a little bit cautious on who to expose my vulnerability although more often than not, I still go beyond the boundaries I set for myself. I constantly break my own rules maybe because the world is not that safe anymore - an endless demonstration that this humanity can still be trusted and an assurance that  no one will hurt a fragile heart like mine is all I need for now. Or at least.

Travel Series : UAE - Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort and Spa

The busiest season of simultaneous exhibition is just about to end here in Dubai. Finally, a little rest for me and more of my online life. (I'm still visible elsewhere, I am almost close to search engine and hashtag friendly  already *wink*) Oh, and thanks to Mimie for taking my obligatory self portraits, hihi.

Working in the travel and leisure industry might be one of the most challenging yet rewarding job this country has to offer. The city has a lot of great places to show travelers and business investors.  I will admit I have started here small - don't bother asking about salary and benefits because for newbies like I am, it works that way. Start small. And I can't seem to stop my itchy feet - going places and meeting different people is something that interest me so I guess I just have to deal and growth with it.

My February has been sweet on the first 3 quarters, the latter seemed to be a little too messy. Alas, all I can do for now is to show you around Dubai and here you go.

Kish Island Visa Run Experience - 3 Days and 2 Nights

Kish Island visa run for filipinos

I moved to Dubai last December, the first time I ever stepped to a foreign land. My friends say what I did is  the most liberating thing I have done recently. And I think it was, too.

Leaving the Philippines had always been my plan a few months back when I was still in Boracay. I somehow did not expect the process to be that fast - I was out of the country in less than a month or so.

I Sort Of Went Somewhere

So. The last post I had was way back September. A lot have happened and I went somewhere again because of something only God knows what it is for. I sometimes feel like I don't want to be a part of the plan any more. It would really sound way way better if you will be THE PLAN, don't you think?

This blog will be somewhat alive again (hopefully), it's just that I am still trying to put things back together and I am looking for something worth writing for. You will need some inspiration once in a while.

Join me again on my trip - from the island and beyond. A new chapter will be made this 2014 - the gulf life.

Below AND Above Sea Level (Fifty Shades of Grey Skies)

I personally haven't read this book yet but last weekend, I had some encounters with "Christian Grey". The calming waters suddenly went mad like crazy and skies suddenly turned grey as big sister takes on her very first diving course with the help of friendly people from GearUp Diving. She was holding and reading this book the whole time so I took a shot - this is definitely going into my blog.

Photo Dump - Pagbilao, Quezon

I went to Pagbilao, Quezon for a vacation - also to invade my elder sister's silent sanctuary while she's out there at the plant analyzing smoke coming out of the giant kettle (we call it "takure"). More photos? ;p
