Hello y'all! The weather in Dubai is getting better and better each day don't you think? And yes, the season of Al Fresco dining has officially kicked off with most of the hotel restaurants here in the UAE so expect more of food posts here in my page. :)
Took one of my roommates with me who surprisingly enjoyed it more than I did. We've been living in the area for more than a year now and this is actually my first time visiting The Terrace lounge.
Like any other restaurant, they have a resident DJ who plays the music. Their playlist is primarily lounge and chill. The way they play their music is just enough to be appreciated by everyone including kids, I guess. They also have a kid's area where children can also mingle with the others - check for family friendly places to enjoy brunch in Dubai.
The Terrace - Buffet Selection
They have a lot of cuisine to choose from and when I say a lot, there really is a lot! From Arabic starters to salads, grilled meat and seafood, and even Japanese, Mexican, Indian food. They pretty much have everything! They also serve fruit juices and of course, alcoholic beverages for those who are in dire need for liquor (lol). Below is my own selection:
Of course my starters always include tabbouleh and mouttabal (both are my favourites). From the mains, I particularly loved their baked potatoes and grilled meat (chicken, beef, and shrimp). I went back a few times for sushi *eyes wowed in amusement* and grabbed a few Fajitas too! Desserts are too pretty but I'm not that much into sweets nowadays so I shared mine with the room mate. For AED 169* with soft drinks and juices (per person), I believe it's worth it for a Friday brunch considering you can also get an access to their swimming pool and free wifi.
