Hello from Dubai!
I'm starting to document all my foodie adventures here in the sandpit - I came across the photos on my mobile and believe it or not, I have tons (like a hundred) of pics to share. Some of them are on my Instagram and some weren't published yet.
Jumeirah Lakes Towers is were I spend most of my days working. On some days when it really gets busy or whenever I don't get to prepare my lunch (yes, we cook food at home), I often opt for food delivery.
There are so many restaurants and food stops in JLT and I'd like to share some of my favorite because they are quite cheap and most importantly, yummy. :)
Red Star Wok - Cluster G
I like Red Star Wok because they deliver ULTRA fast (with fast I mean they deliver in less than 20mins, even on peak hours). They serve mostly Asian food with beef, chicken, or vegetables. Plus, they have a lunch meal which is less than AED35 that already include rice, viand, drinks, and crackers.
Innlay Asia - Cluster F
We love Asian cuisine and this restaurant serves one of the best green curries in JLT. Add the prawn crackers and eat it with rice and curry - absolutely 2 thumbs up. The spices and condiments that goes with the delivered food is also good. Regular order range from AED 40-80 with rice, main course, and drinks.
Richy's Salad - Cluster F
This is the only place where I get my salad delivered. I always ask for French Nicoise salad (because of the salty anchovies which I really like) with the balsamic vinaigrette that comes with it. I suggest you order online before 11am so you can get your salad before 12:30pm.
Pizza Delice - Cluster G
Like Red Star Wok, they deliver fast as well. And for less than AED50, you can get a big box of pizza with salad and drinks which is good for two. Perfect for sharing!
East Fusion Kitchen - Cluster U
This is a new one that I recently discovered. If you're after food similar to Cheesecake Factory and you're located in JLT, this THE one. Food comma is an understatement. They also have the best tasting sushi platter and banana spring rolls I'm dying to have one again as I write this post, argh!
These are just some of the few restaurants I have tried for delivery, I'm posting more soon. The more I think about food, the more I look forward to my work week! See you on the next foodie adventure!
