Social media sites specifically Facebook and Twitter have been the favorite tools used by most Filipinos to connect with their friends real time. The virtual world has been more accessible with the help of the latest gadgets currently available in the market.

The Event
We were invited to attend the biggest pool party in the metro - AQUA. The venue? Where else but the famous LIQUID Pool and Lounge at Manila Ocean Park.
Each of us were given the E-Wrist Tag that lets us access Facebook in real time.
This allows people to post status updates and share photos to friends while having fun in different attractions of Manila Ocean Park.
According to one of the organizers of the AQUA Pool Party, Manila Ocean Park acquired this innovative IT solution from Europe and will be seen in their different popular attractions such as Oceanarium, Trails to Antartica, Marine Life Habitat, Jellies Exbihit, Liquid Pool and Lounge and Acquatica. Guests will be asked to log in their Facebook or Twitter account and will be given this device that stores their social media information to share with their friends online.
This technology was first introduced for inventory control and timing sporting events and now, it's being used as a social tool, where real time meets virtual world with no geographical boundaries.
You can get this E-Wrist Tag for depositing Php 100 at selected stations inside the theme park. Once you return it after use, they will refund the money and if you want to keep it, you can buy it from them as a remembrance.
